What’s been the steepest learning curve on your career journey so far?

Meeting founders and understanding how they think about businesses and execution, along with their ambition and optimism, continues to accelerate my learning.

Which healthcare trend are you most excited about at the moment and why?

I am excited by a couple of different opportunities in India at the moment. First being manufacturing where there is a rising shift from simpler chemistry-led molecules to complex forms – peptides, mAbs, ADCs, and potentially radiopharmaceuticals in India, alongside synthetic biology and medical device manufacturing both India-for-India and India-for-the-world. 

The other trend that is exciting is the consumerisation of healthcare - enabled by increased health awareness and the adoption of technology. This is visible in the adoption of AI across various use cases, growth in wearables, expansion of OTC & DTC products, and evolution of trade channels

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Take big risks early. If you persevere, things will work out – even if it’s not obvious at the start.
